The Shoprider Flagship Scooter w/ Cab - Blue is Shoprider's very fashionable first class mobility scooter that meets even those with the most discerning taste. If foul weather is a common condition in your region, then the Shoprider Flagship is a solution to your environmental problems. All weather transportation in comfort is imparted by the Flagship's chic canopy enclosure. The sturdy detachable doors can be locked with a key and provide security as well as convertibility. If all this is new to you, medical electric mobility scooters are personal electric scooters that have either three or four wheels and steer much like a bicycle, using handlebars. Electric scooters are ideal for out-of-home activities, as they glide smoothly and easily over a variety of surfaces. There are even portable motorized scooters that can be stowed in the trunk of your car to take along with you.

Note: Your physician determines the right power mobility solution for you based on your medical needs.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) allows for an electric wheelchair, power chair or POV/Scooter to be prescribed by the beneficiary's treating physician or practitioner. However, due to the relative safety risks associated with POV/Scooters compared to electric wheelchairs or power chairs, CMS recommends that POV/Scooters be prescribed by a Rheumatologist, Neurologist, Physiatrist, or Orthopedist.
